time commitment

Working with a college admissions counselor typically involves a significant time commitment from the student. The exact amount of time will depend on the student's goals and needs, but it is essential to allocate sufficient time to make the most of the services offered. The student will typically need to attend regular meetings with the counselor, which may last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Additionally, the student will need to devote time to research colleges, write essays, complete applications, and prepare for interviews. It is important to be committed and proactive throughout the process to ensure that the student is giving themselves the best chance of success.
We recommend that students begin prepping for the college admissions process no later than the spring semester of their junior year of high school. Juniors can benefit greatly by gaining early insight into the college application process and developing a strategic plan for achieving their college goals. We are happy to work with current high school seniors as well; however, services may be limited. Freshmen and sophomore students are welcome as well.
